This week, our Fairies group presented the rough animatic to our respective classes. We received feedback that the monsters should play a larger role in the film or be taken away completely. Hannah, the director, decided to give the forest monsters a larger role in the movie and refine the visual representation of what motivates the fairy. Hannah is working on refining the animatic.

We have scheduled a few shoot dates as of right now. October 4th is our greenscreen test shoot day. November 8th is our main shoot day for the greenscreen scenes. We will have our XR shoot day at the beginning of the winter quarter.

Right now, I am working on the live action costuming so that it can be ready for our greenscreen shoot day. This weekend, Hannah and I are going to collaborate on the costume concept. I will work with her to clarify her expectations for the costuming. By September 23rd, I expect to be gathering materials for the costume and will meet with the actor to get her measurements shortly after. After I gather materials, I will create a plan to combine the costume pieces into one cohesive costume that fits the director's vision.

After the live-action costume is completed, I plan to do some cloth simulation tests to see if there are any ways to expand upon the costume digitally as a way to add life to the fairy character.
